Bass Only, Boat or Bank Tournament Rules.
- Registration begins one hour prior to start of tournament.
- Bass tournaments are opening to members, their minor children and minor grandchildren.
- Only bass 12” or longer will be considered legal. All bass that maybe questionable will be measured by a tournament official. Their judgment is final.
- All bass must be released.
- Entry fee is $5.00 per person. 80% will be paid back to the top 3 places. (20% returned to association).
- A voluntary big fish jackpot will be held at each tournament. Entry fee is $5.00. 50% of total entry monies received will go to the biggest bass caught. The other 50% goes back to the association.
- Big fish counts towards total weight as well as big fish.
- All entrants must be by the weigh-in station prior to the start of tournament. Those fishing from boats must be anchored between the peninsulas.
- Anglers are allowed to fish with only one pole at a time.
- Only artificial baits may be used.
- Stringers are prohibited, fish baskets are recommended, and buckets are allowable. Fish should be weighed as soon as possible.
- The top 5 fish from each angler will count for total weight at the end of each tournament. Anglers are allowed to weigh in as many bass as they want and cull with no penalty.
- Only two people can fish from any one boat, and children under 14 must wear a pfd at all times.
- Anglers must remain at least 25 yards away from any other anglers.
- Fish length will be measured from tip of snout to the end of tail with fish laid flat, mouth closed, tail lobes pressed together. All bass must be 12” on a belly board.
Violations of these rules, cheating, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in disqualification and forfeiture of entry fees paid. The decisions of tournament officials are final and binding. |
