Miami Valley Friends of NRA Banquet
The Friends of the NRA is a non-profit organization that promotes the shooting sports throughout the nation. One half of the funds raised in a community are returned to shooting clubs, scouting groups, FFA groups, law enforcement agencies, etc. in that community; at a meeting in January of each year. The grants are voted on and allocated by members of each FoNRA groups across the state to ensure a fair distribution.
Last year GCF&G received over $8,500.00 to upgrade our ranges, make repairs and add access roads for work parties. This work is complete and would not have been possible at this time without the grant from our 2010 banquet.
In 2011 we are going to request money to purchase equipment for our youth/ladies programs and possibly establish an ISPC range that could be used by our members on a registered shoot bases and also by local law enforcement groups for training.
On Thursday September 29th we will be holding the 18th annual dinner and we need you to be there to support us in making this an even bigger event than last year. Look at the information in the clubhouse and on this web page to purchase tickets

This is a critically important program that must be funded so please do your part to make it a success.
