Campground Picnic: June 21, 2008 bring a covered dish about 3pm at shelter by archery

Campground Luau: August 23, 2008, This year s event will take place at the small shelter house by the big lake (weather permitting).   Or at the large shelter house near the rifle ranges in the event of rain. This rain or shine event will kickoff around 4 pm till?    Members are asked to bring their own tropical beverage and snacks, a covered dish and lawn chairs.    Please dress for the occasion in your favorite island attire. We’ll have food, music, lots of tiki torches, a 50/50 raffle, and more. So bring your flip flops, your brightly colored Hawaiian shirt, and your fuzzy coconut mug and come as your favorite crazy islander!    This event is free, so for more information, of if you would like to help setup or tear down after the event contact campground chairperson Perry Fitch at 657-3846 or email at campground@gcfng.com

Campground Halloween Party; October 11, 2008, EVERYONE IS INVITED TO: enjoy plenty of good food and great company; warm up by our huge bon-fire after dark and take part in this great event!    This  years  event will feature hayrides,  face painting and games ,  corn hole  competition , a cake walk, the best Chili contest ,  so bring your best chili,  go  trick or  treating  at the campers, and the see the best  decorated  camp site and more. The best costume for the kids (different age groups).    All members planning to attend should bring weather appropriate clothing, a covered dish or desert, and a hearty appetite for food and fun.    So don’t forget to bring your camera!    Donations of cakes and baked goods are needed for the cake walk, would be greatly appreciated!    We will have a 50/50 raffle.
